Resolutions for The New Year
If you read this in 2022, then, first of all, a happy new year to you all, of course. I hope you are all well and that the new year has already started in the right way for you!
The year 2021 has been extremely challenging, and it seems we are not out of the woods just yet. But let’s not lose faith and keep our chin up!
This year will not be any different in regards to new year’s resolutions than the years before. However, we will have some resolutions for the new year no matter what. Did you already pledge to anything?
For a lot of people, a new year means new resolutions. At the end of the year, we tend to look back. What we might see, looking back, is that there is not much left of the intentions we had at the beginning of the year. I hope for you it is different though!
We, as people, try to aim high at times. But, as a result, you are left with a compound of good resolutions which are impossible to complete all in one go.
How to achieve your new year’s resolutions
Rule 1
Never make a list as long as a grocery list. For sure, you will not accomplish all on your list. The best way to write resolutions for the new year is to break your lists or goals down—for instance, four lists. For every quarter, one list. Also, set a measurable goal. Not just a vague I want to do more sports, lose weight etc. as I mentioned before, setting a goal.
Rule 2
Keep it real. Stay realistic with your goals. Don’t try to overachieve. Generally, it is a good thing, but not with plans. If you don’t reach them, you will be left disappointed. So instead, say in the first three months, I want to lose 5 kgs. That is measurable, it is maybe not a huge amount, but it is achievable. And of course, you can adapt your goal if you see that it is easier to achieve, so adjust it to 7 kg if you are well on your way.
Rule 3
Reward yourself if you have accomplished a goal. Choose something you really like. For instance, a box of Neuhaus chocolate. Or anything else you want. Unless, of course, your goal is to lose weight ;-).

Rule 4
Keep a small journal of how you are doing. So you can keep on track with your goals and even tune them. In this way, you will be more likely to reach your goals.
Rule 5
Buy fabulous fashion jewellery and accessories at Yazzy’s. Doing this will help you with your goal-reaching. There is scientific proof that this will help you reach your goals and resolutions.
My small guide to keep you on the right track; at least, that was my intention. I hope it will help you, and we will have a check at the end of the year to see of well you went.
This article is recurring every year as it is a ritual that continues to be repeated every year without really changing, to be honest. Unfortunately, the same pitfalls seem to be appearing every year.
15th January
Around the 15th of January is the break or make point. This moment of time will decide if you can hold your resolutions or not.
However, it is best to have a positive outlook and see this date as an adjustment point.
Here you can see if you might have to adjust your goal or not. So go for it!
