How to Measure a Belt
Belt size can always be a tricky accessory to determine. Therefore the best way to do it is to take a well-fitted belt you already own. Lay the belt on a flat surface. Start the tape measure at the hole you use and measure to the end of the belt, where it meets the buckle. Our belts are measured in centimetres. Round up to the nearest centimetre. However, larger is better than too small obviously.
- Waist size is the hole in your belt you currently use.
- Belt size is the size to order.
Note: This measurement technique is standard for belts at Yazzy’s Fashion Accessories. Some other manufacturers do include the buckle in the size. To keep it simple
The length of the belt is measured from the end of the buckle where the leather of the belt starts to the middle hole of the belt. IIn the drawing above it is named the waist size. The total length of the belt will then be approximately 15 cm longer so that you can fit the belt in the centre hole. You may round off the measurement to the nearest size. Make sure you measure where you want to wear the belt and do not pull the measuring tape too tight. Please refer to the size chart for the different sizes according to the circumference in cm.

How to Measure Your Body for the correct size
To measure your body for optimal belt size, start by threading the tape measure through the belt loops of your trousers. When taking the measurement it’s important to stand in a relaxed, natural position–do not push out your belly or suck it in (we know it is tempting!). The measuring tape should be snug but not too tight. Measure and round to the nearest centimetre.
General Belt Information
Over time, leather belts tend to stretch this is even more valid for braided belts. So it’s good to remember that a belt that fits snug initially will likely wear more comfortably down the road.
However, we do have some belts in our collection, which the above is, of course, not applicable.
